Ace ImageWear wins KC Chamber of Commerce’s Legacy of Kansas City Award

Ace ImageWear was honored with the Legacy of Kansas City Award at the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce’s 28th annual Small Business Awards Luncheon on May 29. More than 600 people attended the sold-out ceremony, one of the largest of its kind in the U.S.

The Legacy of Kansas City Award honors longevity, quality products and services, and community service in the Kansas City area. The winner is selected by a panel of chamber members which bases its decision on nominees’ responses to a comprehensive questionnaire on business practices and references from nominees’ customers and partners.

The luncheon’s main event was the naming of 2014’s Small Business of the Year. That prestigious award was claimed by Bishop-McCann, a meetings, events and travel management company. Alpha Energy and Electric Inc. won the Diverse-Owned Business Award and Snow & Co., a bar specializing in frozen cocktails, won the Aspirational Entrepreneur Award.
